I grew up knowing Jesus. I worked at Bible Camp, led worship and constantly pointed people to God. It wasn't until a few years ago that I actually made Jesus Lord of my life. So often we 'talk the talk' but there are things we cling tightly to that God wants us to surrender to Him. There are hidden sins that He wants to shed light on. These songs were written during some of the most vulnerable times and some of the most amazing moments where I experienced freedom like never before. God wants all of us, and by the power of the Holy Spirit we can walk in victory over the temptations of sin all because Jesus died on the cross and rose again! It is through Him that our relationship with God is restored. This is something I have known my whole life, but now I walk in it. I have experienced the love of God and want to extend that same love to anyone who wants to listen. I hope these songs will both challenge and encourage you. I hope they give language to your transformation as you seek Jesus for yourself. He will meet you just as He met me. -Alysha

When I look at the world around me, it can get very discouraging knowing there's very little I can do to change it. Sometimes I would catch myself on the brink of giving up. What's the point anyways? It wasn't until I began learning to surrender my need to control, and fixed my eyes on Jesus, that I saw a huge change in my own heart. That change in me started to shift my perspective as I learned God's love and compassion for people. This song is the butterfly emerging from the chrysalis. The ongoing transformation that can only happen when I allow God space to renew my mind, so that I can be filled to overflowing with humility, grace and ultimately His peace.

This song came from a quiet moment of worship as I was battling with fear of the unknown. I have watched strongholds crumble in my own life as I've learned to make Jesus the centre of my life. I pray that this song brings breakthrough in the lives of anyone who declares that Jesus is worthy.

Not that I don’t believe he exists- but do I trust that he will be faithful even if things don’t look like I think they should?
